Established in 1976, by Jeremy Addis, Books Ireland is Ireland’s longest-running book magazine and is dedicated to showcasing and
reviewing the vibrant range of Irish literature being published at home and abroad. Published bi-monthly, Books Ireland, offers a range of features, reviews, listings and opinions from ‘the world of Irish books’. We cover circa. 1,000 new Irish books each year.
As proud members of Publishing Ireland and Magazines Ireland, we are committed to supporting and growing the Irish book industry. We collaborate with, and support, all manner of individuals and groups from the Irish literary scene. Outlined below are just some of the ways in which we would like to work with you.
First Flush and review process:
We encourage you to send in review copies of all
recently published books for inclusion in our First Flush listing. Once listed in ‘First Flush’, the editor will select specific titles for future feature
review. Unlike many other media, here at Books Ireland, we guarantee to comment on and list every single book sent to us in our regular ‘First Flush’ feature, provided they meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Irish author
- Irish publisher
- Irish interest
- All books require an ISBN number.
